The Department of Recreation & Senior Services mission is to provide programs, events and activities and to maintain Open Space and Recreation Facilities to enhance the quality of life for Evesham residents of all ages.

The Department offers programs and classes starting as young as 17 months old through senior citizens. Classes are offered quarterly and a newsletter is available online. We offer summer activities and camps for pre-schoolers to teens. The current programs being offered are listed under the appropriate categories. We also sponsor and or facilitate the following special events:
We also offer free transportation for our senior citizens to travel throughout Evesham Township five days per week. We maintain parks, playgrounds, athletic fields and courts, as well as open space areas. Administer and grant permits for use of Township facilities.

Legal notice: dog park
Take notice: that the Township of Evesham is proposing to change the purpose or use of 1 acre of Savich Farm from open land to a dog park. The dog park will consist of fencing of areas to allow dogs to run and interact. Savich Farm is located on East Main Street, Block 28.20 lots 7 and 8.
Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-25.6(a)1, a hearing to obtain public comment on this proposed change of use will be held at the Township of Evesham Municipal Building, 984 Tuckerton Road, Marlton, NJ in the Courtroom on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.
All information regarding the proposed change in use is available for public inspection at the Township Clerk’s Office, Township of Evesham, 984 Tuckerton Road, Marlton, NJ 08053, daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Please send a copy of any comments submitted on this request to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Green Acres Program, Bureau of Legal Services and Stewardship, PO Box 412, Trenton, NJ 08625-0412.
Public comment on this proposed change in use will be accepted during the public hearing or until April 29, 2014. On or after April 30, 2014 the Township of Evesham may take formal action to approve the proposed change in use.
