The Department of Recreation & Senior Services mission is to provide programs, events and activities and to maintain Open Space and Recreation Facilities to enhance the quality of life for Evesham residents of all ages.

The Department offers programs and classes starting as young as 17 months old through senior citizens.  Classes are offered quarterly and a newsletter is available online. We offer summer activities and camps for pre-schoolers to teens. The current programs being offered are listed under the appropriate categories. We also sponsor and or facilitate the following special events:

Taste of Evesham
Independence Day Celebration
Flea Market
Summer Concerts

Harvest Festival (formerly known as Fall Festival)
WinterFest
Bike Evesham

We also offer free transportation for our senior citizens to travel throughout Evesham Township five days per week. We maintain parks, playgrounds, athletic fields and courts, as well as open space areas. Administer and grant permits for use of Township facilities.

Gibson House Community Center

 

The Gibson House Community Center is one of the crowning achievements of Evesham Township and has become a community centerpiece. At 50 by 50 square feet, the Gibson House can comfortably hold 150 people “party style” or 240 people “classroom style” (chairs only.) With an attached veranda overlooking the Indian Spring Golf Course, the Gibson House is a perfect place to host your next event!

The Gibson House rentals are available weekdays and weekends for a variety of uses such as weddings and receptions, birthday parties, anniversary and retirement parties, banquets and fundraising events, business and club meetings, conferences and educational events, meeting rooms, performances, and trade shows.
